3D Fan Art Challenge 2013
For this video game fan art challenge we were tasked to take an existing character from any video game to produce a 3D rendition of that character. I chose the character May from the Guilty Gear series to because of her energetic personality and her wonderful character design. Using Zbrush I sculpted her using a base mesh created in Maya and while using zbrush’s dynamesh feature to created almost all of her other accessories. Once the posing and creation process was complete I rendered out different passes to composite them in Photoshop and create my final image for the competition.
